DRAFTDAY Prospects 05 Spotlight

Draftday Hockey has designed an event to provide maximum exposure and visibility for top level 2005 birth year players.

After a very frustrating and difficult year where it has been impossible for scouts and next level hockey people to properly evaluate and assess this group, we are Draftday are looking to provide a visibility and viewing opportunity second to none. In designing this event we collaborated with a number of next level scouts and coaches that we have worked with in past and the final product is geared for both the athlete and those looking to view the athletes.

Draftday will be accepting 32 teams which are to consist of 1 goalie and 11 skaters. Players may register individually or as a team entry but players and rosters will need to be approved and confirmed prior to acceptance in the event. Each team will participate in 4 games at the Scotiabank Pond and all games will be live streamed and we are also hopeful for in person viewings at the event May 14-16. Games will be 36 minutes in length (3 x 12 minutes) so significantly more ice opportunity than a full 17 player roster and over 4 games this will provide the viewing audience a great opportunity for evaluation. Rosters will be distributed to those in attendance as well as posted online.
